Welcome to kladdi ✍️

kladdi is a fast scratchpad and notebook that lives entirely in your browser. It's a home for quick notes, markdown, code snippets, and drafts. Everything you write autosaves locally (IndexedDB) as you type. No install, no account, nothing sent anywhere.

Try it

• Click + File or + Folder in the sidebar to make something new.
• Write in plain text, markdown, or any language; kladdi detects the filetype and highlights it.
• Type here; it autosaves as you go.
• Hover a file in the tree to rename, delete, or copy it.
• Drag files and folders around the tree to reorganize them.
• Open Collaborate → Start to share a workspace and co-edit it live, with changes merging in real time.
• Use Sync to mirror this workspace to a real folder on your computer, so your notes are plain files on disk (Chrome or Edge).
